Chaotic Piano is a collection of lo-fi recordings made by Danish songwriter Jacob Faurholt between 2004-2006. Some were released back then on different cd-r EP’s on the now defunct Copenhagen label Bloated Sasquatch Beer Theatre Audio (BSBTA). For this EP Faurholt added a bit of clarity to the mixes in his home studio, and got the songs properly mastered by Carl Saff (Guided By Voices, Bonnie Prince Billy).

The music’s home-recorded nature, with surrounding sounds from the room blending into the mixes, are reminiscent of early recordings by some of Faurholt’s musical influences, such as Guided By Voices, Daniel Johnston and Will Oldham.
